Dan Morenoff is a committed conservative who has spent the last several months exploring a run for one of the new seats in the U.S. House of Representatives that Texas will get as a result of the 2010 Census.
Unfortunately, the map passed by the legislature includes no district for him to run in. While that map remains subject to litigation, that litigation promises to stretch onward for months, likely to or near the filing deadline for candidates to get onto the ballot. While there is nothing that Dan would rather do then spend the next 16-months fighting for the right to represent North Texas in Congress and, on its behalf, to fight for America’s fiscal future, its freedom, and the opportunities it affords our children, he recognizes that there is currently no district available to run to represent. So Dan’s put his “exploration” of a run on hold.
Thank you for your interest in supporting Dan. The Committee continues to own this site (as well as a campaign account and a working link to PayPal, if you want to contribute to a future campaign at this time); should there be relevant developments in a future election cycle, we’ll be back.
